Effective: May 2, 2026 · Last updated: May 2, 2026
Plain-English summary. EMC is a single-advisor consulting firm. We collect only what you give us when you book a strategy call or contact us, plus standard server logs from this website. We use that information to respond to you and run our business. We do not sell or rent it. Below is the formal policy. Please read it carefully and contact us with any questions.
About third parties. When you book a strategy call, your information is also processed by GoHighLevel and other service providers identified below, each of which has its own privacy policy and data-handling practices that are outside EMC's control. Before submitting personal information through this site, please review those third-party policies as well.

1. Scope and Acceptance

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Efficient Management Consulting, a California S-Corporation ("EMC", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information about you when you visit emc4la.com and any related subdomains (collectively, the "Site"), book a consultation with us, or otherwise interact with us in connection with our advisory services (the "Services").

By using the Site or our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.

We do not knowingly collect or process biometric identifiers, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or precise geolocation through this Site.

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from third parties. For example, a referral source who introduces you to us, or a public business registry. Where this occurs, we treat that information consistently with this Policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not send marketing emails to people who have not requested them.

4. When We Share Information

We share information only as described below:

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site itself uses minimal cookies. Embedded third-party features. Most notably the booking widget. May set their own cookies on your device when you interact with them. These cookies are used to operate the booking experience, remember your selections during a session, and provide basic security and abuse prevention.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking, deleting, or being notified before a cookie is set. Disabling cookies may impair certain functionality on the Site, including the ability to schedule a call.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there is no industry standard for how to do so. We do honor verified Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from California residents as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not currently engage in either).

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, to maintain accurate business and accounting records, and to comply with our legal, tax, regulatory, and licensing obligations. Records related to advisory engagements are typically retained for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable archival period thereafter, generally not less than the applicable statute of limitations.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials confidential and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use of your information.

8. Your Rights and Choices

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

Sources of information: directly from you; automatically from your device when you use the Site; from our service providers (e.g., the scheduling vendor); occasionally from referral sources or public business registries.

Business purposes for collection: as described in Section 3 above.

Sale or sharing: EMC does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Sensitive personal information: EMC does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than those permitted under CCPA Section 1798.121(a) without authorization.

To exercise these rights, contact us per Section 14. You may designate an authorized agent in writing to act on your behalf.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site and the Services are intended for business professionals and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
